My Fantom is not the original. It is the mini version released by LOC not too long back. It was the first of their LPR line that I tried. Its a pretty simple shape in an easily built rocket. It went together easily and it flew well.

As is usually the case with me, I did not get too creative with the decor. Its just basically a matter of having copied the face card.

Nice looking mini, John! Here's mine: the full-size EXL version with 3 extra 38's for airstarts. A few build pix and video are at https://s424.photobucket.com/albums/pp321/new2hpr/Rocketry/Excess%20In%20Moderation/

Here's my wifes Phantom which she built for her L1 HP Cert flight. She's decided to add the EXL section to try her hand at dule deployment. I think she's tired of those LOOOOOOONG WALKS!

Here is my LOC Fantom. I am doing my L1 Cert on this rocket next month.

I made a couple of upgrades. I added rail buttons mounted to some standoffs instead of the launch lug, and instead of the elastic shock cord, I used 3/4" tubular nylon strap connected to an eyebolt epoxied in the nosecone and a U bolt epoxied in the upper centering ring.

It is painted with Rustoleum white and hunter green paint, and decorated it with Dale Earnhardt Jr decals.
