Great kit. It was one of @BigMacDaddy 's first designs that caught my eye.
I saw one fly awhile back at the club. NOTHING TO FEAR but fear itself. It's not weird...IT'S FRENCH!

Oooh, the wacky french vtol, plane...? thing. I shall follow this thread with great interest.
That’s something I fear if/when I do a complex project, and with 3d printed parts. But hey, you gotta fail to improve, but I hope you continue to pursue this project! (Unlike the French)
This is a builder's kit from Radical Rocketry. I plan on repairing it and flying again.
The oddroc flyer does not fear damage, they invite it!

Maybe epoxy strips of cardstock inside the ring to give strength across the print lines?
@BigMacDaddy any suggestions other than to turn the excess ABS into paste/glue?
Ooof -- what happened? Did the parachute not deploy?
You could CA glue that together but it should not break that badly. I have had mine bounce before when parachute did not deploy.
I can send you a replacement ring fin (actually I may just send you a whole new kit since your original NC did not look as smooth as I would normally put out in a kit, maybe you just got a bad print - it is a constant effort to keep printers working well).
