Hey all you tube-finners,

I'm about to embark on a tube fin build (Fliskits Borealis actually). I've tried to finish the inside of fins in the past but I don't know all the tricks. What tricks do you use finishing the inside of glassine paper tubes? (Yes, I realize finishing the inside of fiberglass would be different)

There are a few methods on finishing the inside of tubes. One is to simply brush paint the inside. It is hard to spray the inside, even with an airbrush. I have read in the forums, others line the inside of tubes with contruction paper rolled up to fit inside the tube.

I've built a few tubers. The inside spirals are more pronounced and a bit deeper, thus require a bit more filler than the standard airframe sort. I do these first, then seal everything in thin CA. 220 and 400 them, then primer and paint as desired...

Later!
