As you can probably tell by now I tend to focus on old classic kits, and here's another one recently finished, the MPC Flare Patriot.Had it's first flight at URRF on a B6-4, boosted so high I mistakenly thought I put a C6 in it.Super straight, perfect recovery, came down about 100 yards from the pad.All of my flights there were my first ones in 45 years, and everything went perfectly.

Well, a lot of different stuff, went to a LOT of concerts, picked up darts when in my early 20's and stayed with that for 30 years or so, and that means a lot of time at my local watering hole.It was actually time well spent considering everything I saw and did then.A lot of good times and a lot of good friends made back in the day.Flash forward a few years later, I'm looking through the magazine rack at Barnes&Noble and what do I find but a copy of HIGH POWER ROCKETRY! So that started it all over again. So a couple of years later got reinvolved.Come a long way in 54 years, I was 8 years old when I started back in 69.Just as the Dead say, what a long strange trip it's been.
