Tons of people have done space shots on solids, and Evolution Space is doing them routinely, but has anyone done a space shot on liquids/hybrids?

Have a look at the Copenhagen Suborbital site. Or the Delft team.
Once you start talking about going to the space level, it's generally a team effort.

Wouldn't say "tons". The 2004 and 2014 launches from CSXT were the first amateur launches above the Karman Line (though saying the later of those two was amateur is questionable given the launch vehicle evolved into Up Aerospace's current launcher). Kip Daugirdas got to ~90km about a year ago, and the USC RPL team got their Traveler IV rocket past the Karman line. Out of those three, two were team efforts. There have been many more attempts at an amateur space shot, including a few on hybrids (Stratos IV from TU Delft which never launched, and N2ORTH from Stuttgart which flew once to 64 km and attempted a space shot later that ended up breaking apart). As far as I can tell there has not been an amateur liquid space shot attempt yet, though TU Delft, University of Michigan, Concordia University, and probably a dozen other schools have actively worked towards one.
