The Great Lakes Cup FAI competition will be held in Oswego, Illinois from June 21-22nd this year. If youve never tried any sort of FAI competition then this is a great place to get started. Its usually a large contest with most of the US Team members showing up along with foregin competitors from Russia, India, and Canada. Were using a Holiday Inn Express as the host hotel and we have a full meal package that provides all needed meals for the contest.
The contest events will be: S1B- altitude duration, S3A- parachute duration, S4A- boost glider duration, S6A- streamer duration, S8E/P- RC rocket glider, and S9A- gyrocopter duration.
This is also a joint contest with our Canadian friends, and Taras Tataryn is the contest director for the Canadian portion of the event.
