Time for fillets. I am using RocketPoxy, and do two fillets at a time. A couple things I have found...

Heating the RocketPoxy before application coaxes out air bubbles, makes the mixture thinner in consistency which helps fill all gaps, creates a stronger bond, and sets faster.

Removing the masking tape immediately after you have the rocketpoxy set where you want allows the edges of the epoxy along the fin and air frame to smooth out better. It's easier after about 45 minut4es, to cut off any drops that spill off with a razor knife than it is to sand the little edge created by the tape edge when the epoxy is allowed to set for 45 minutes before the tape is removed.

Heating the completed application for about 20 minutes afterward (I use my work lamps which have 60-watt incandescent bulbs) helps coax out more bubbles and makes the fillets smoother. Re 09a.jpg
