Glow-plug for dual deploy charge?

I was doing a little thinking today while looking at some 2 stroke nitro rc airplane motors and i was wondering if there could be a way to wire up a glow plug or something like it to the bp charge on the ebay bulkheads so you dont have to replace the igniter wire every time. Just sprinkle a little bp in the plug that is sealed upside down on the charge and put a premeasured latex glove fingertip of bp on top with a little masking tape to hold it down and you're good to go. Not sure what size battery you would need to fire it but im willing to try. Anyone ever tried something like this?

Yes. Among other implementations, the AeroTech Electronic Forward Closure ignited an ejection charge via an RC glow plug, activated by a timer.
