It took me 12 years (on and off) to build and was the most frustrating rocket I had put together to date.Estes_Saturn_V_2157.jpg

Finished to be flown, so no fancy spiral filling and such.

I modified it to be flown on a cluster of 4 engines e.g. C6-5's.

Glad I finally got it finished!

It's gorgeous!

Did you add nose weight? Might need just a little.

Thanks David, I have a Centuri Saturn V that I had started mid 80's still waiting to be painted. The plastic parts have gotten so brittle through the many years that I won't be able to fly her. However this Estes build has somehow motivated me to finish the Centuri kit just because the finished model looks so great.

Nice work Leo (though it needs one more engine!). What was the final weight?

Thanks.
It never occurred to me to weigh it. Will do that next year when I'm in the US.
Cluster is tricky so 4 is my limit :)
