Since The weather is no good for painting it was time for another build. I,ve had my eye on the Sirius eradicator but since I am also eyeing a couple other kits I decided it would be a good candidate for a shrunk down version. I tried doing the design open rocket but it doesn't seem to be capable of doing it(at least not with me at the mouse) so I was gonna have to just jump in. I borrowed parts from another kit.here is the tube with a section removed. It will be used to make the two rings at the fin section,I didn't have a spare tube for the bottom section so I stole one from the saran wrap(don't tell the wife) our dog levi says "thank you for the big ball of plastic wrap"
The centering rings were made on my taig. Here is the lower section with centering rings installed. The tube is quite heavy duty which is good because it's kinda the backbone of this design. I will be using a 24mm mmt so there should be plenty of good choices for powering it.Here are the two halves trial fitted together. The overall length will be around 26". I may adjust the ratio of the two sections a touch but not sure at this point.
More to follow soon!!
