Ryan Winslow(flyfalcons) put together a great video of all my RC rocket glider flights at the tri-cities washington launch a few weeks ago, kudos to him.
Just mailed out two custom kits of my scratch built colonial viper rc rocket glider....I did this model for myself, but I got convinced to kit it, which meant making templates and instructions. Now that I have the templates I can continue to make them, listed on my site if interested. Oversized wing for glide but when you paint most of it black you don't really see it and it really looks like a viper, flies great. 26.5" long, 25" wingspan, 11 oz rtf. There is a lot of tube in the kit, and a lot of tube slotting(all cut by hand), modifying the nose cone and plugging it etc so it's a bit more expensive than some of my others.

Looks amazing! Do you happen to have a flight video that you can post?
very cool, and clever to enlarge wing surface area in black to keep "the look" but make it glide-able.Just mailed out two custom kits of my scratch built colonial viper rc rocket glider....I did this model for myself, but I got convinced to kit it, which meant making templates and instructions. Could the same thing be done with an X-Wing? It would end up being kind of a biplane, with non-parallel wings.
I am just curious, do you have some kind of deal with apogee to sell the Aurora clipper on their store. Or do they just buy it off your site
Frank,Trying to gauge interest, 38" long, 2" diameter, 24" wingspan, Avro Arrow RC rocket glider, around 11.5 oz rtf using the standard 24mm E-6 RC reloads. I built one long back and made templates, but got zero interest, trying again to see if it is worth kitting and doing instructions.

That SR-71 flight on a F-24 looks pretty good. How did it handle? I remember you saying that the SR-71 kit on an E-15 was pretty fast, perhaps too fast for most flyers.
