Ryan Catanesi takes his 54mm minimum diameter "Spiritio Di Competizione" Blue Tube rocket to 17,248 feet, 55 g's and Mach 2.24 on an Aerotech 54mm 54/2560 "K" motor! Way to go Ryan! See "Customer Projects" page on our website for picture and video.

Pullman Geosciences Research Foundation uses Blue Tube for their severe weather Research Project "Glenda Project" in hopes to gain a better understanding of impending bad weather patterns! Very cool!

Also, 25% off AT reload sale ENDS 10/3!!! (Extended past 9/30's Sept sale to include the weekend only!)

Interesting Trivia:
Do you know what ordinance round contains Blue Tube? It is the M485A2 Illumination round. Phenix Tube makes the internal tube that has the illumination composition in it and is then inside the canister in the shell. They make it 60mm, 80mm, 105mm and 155mm. Range is about 17 miles and it delivers 1 million candle power and deploys a parachute! Cool! Check it out!

If phenolic worked, the military would use that, because it's cheaper than Blue Tube, but guess what folks, it doesn't work. Phenolic just can't handle that stress.. For projects of any real power or stress, phenolic is just plain obsolete.. So, unless you got the bucks for carbon fiber, or don't care about the weight of fiberglass, why would you bother with anything else, or anything else with phenolic mixed in it?
