I'm a TARC coach at my school and this happened at our last launch. I happened to be recording in slowmo.

Yes. It melted the Polycarbonate BT-80 tube, but that's it. Somehow even the chute didn't get cooked.

Just a Samsung cell in slow motion. Zoomed in a slowed a bit more in editing.

My brother cato'd the same motor but it was user error, he put the nozzle where the ejection charge goes and the ejection charge where the nozzle goes so the flame went up instead of down, I just had my first cato today on an Estes f26
