Just before sunset last night I gathered my daughter, and launch stuff to the back yard.
In my haste to use the waning light, I forgot to grab the camera, but it was fun anyway.
Flew my Qmodeling Vega on an E9-4. Kevlar caught on one of the landing pods, so it came down horizontal, but un damaged. Glad it wasn't the chute that got tangled.
Still had a little light left, so, a B6-4 in an Estes Farside (Blue, ARF model). I should have swapped the chute for a streamer, but after a 75yard trek through the waist hi vegetation, we got it back. That chute has a couple of scorches in it, so I think I'll just cut a spill hole in it for next time.
Wanted to burn a little 13mm too, but the light was fading by the time we made it back with the Farside.
Maybe tonight I'll burn a few more, and remember the camera.
Have fun, Play Safe....
