Got a rocket stuck in a tree a few days ago that has my AltimeterOne and keychain camera onboard.

February in Wisconsin, and it's -raining-?! Go figure.

The camera is mostly covered in tape, but the AltimeterOne is out in the open.

I'll be curious (and hopeful) if it survives. Crossing my fingers!

I'll make sure it's as dry as possible before I try to power it up. I'll keep you updated, but I have to get my rocket out of the tree yet :(

Hopefully it's hanging in such a way that it won't get wet inside.
I fear for it; they don't do well with water. Lithium battery, high current...
When you fetch it, take it apart, remove the battery. Let the parts dry out before you try to turn it on.
But I can help you fix it afterwards if needed. Address on website.
Good luck.

That's what I'm mostly concerned with, the battery.

I've had it for a few years now, I bought one shortly after they were introduced, and well before the Altimeter 2 and 3 were even thought of.

Though I have certainly got my money's worth, I'd hate to see it die.

Thanks, John, when I get it back, I will do as you recommend.

Time will tell :/
