Alpha kit bash cluster/stage

Alpha or Alpha III? Marv and I did two Alpha III bashes at the same launch. One was glueing 3 B6s to the side w/ a C6 in the middle. We lengthened it with another alpha body tube. It worked great. The second was we took three more Alpha III kits and made a three stager. We used all the alpha tubes for the body and the fin cans for the lower stages. After several attemts to light it it finally went but there was clay in the nozzle (post flight inspection) of the stage 2 motor so it didnt light and the rocket fell back in the field undamaged. We tried again to light it as a 2 stager but it didn't work. We took that to be a bad omen for it so we didnt try again. Hope you guys have a lot of fun with that. Kit bashing is great...
