AHHHHH I just deleted all my RockSim Engine Files!

Ummmmmm.... Ya title says it all. I was adding a new motor and accidentally deleted the whole database. :eyeroll:

I can add a couple motors at a time, but does anyone know a way to restore the complete motor catalog for all vendors...

Mark does a GREAT job of updating the Manufacturer files as motors
get certified.

Here are a list of places where you download motor files:

Complete Database of Certified Motors - Download NOW! <--- (looks like you have to go to the Apogee website for this option)

The most important thing you must do is to put the downloaded files into the "DATA" folder of RockSim (If they are zipped, you must unzip them first).

After putting in the DATA folder, start RS and then under the File menu option is Reload Motors..It will bring up a dialog(dual pane) that will show what motors you have in your database(right side) and files in the DATA directory(left side). Click on the file to add and then click the button for Add to database...Then click on ok..

Generally the motors are available instantly to run simulations, but occasionally you will need to close and restart RS to get the motors to show in the 'select motor' dialog when running a simulation..

I will second this suggestion. Another plus is the data base file that include a large number of items not found in the original Apogee files.
