Advertisement: WTB: 5.5" Nosecone

Looking for a nosecone for Polecat Aerospace 5.5" tube. I think this is LOC tubing that is fiberglassed so the ID of the tube should be 5.38" or so.

Thanks. The nosecone has shot up in price. I was willing to buy it for a while - now it's almost the same price as new and I haven't been able to get in touch with the seller to determine how much shipping he is charging.

The other link send for What'sUpHobbies is for the short version and I need the long one. I've asked for a quote for the long one.

Anyone else have other sources?

I would order the Performance Rocketry nose cones from a dealer that actually has them in stock. The guy with PR is notorious for very slow delivery when you order direct.

Be SURE that the nose cones actually fit LOC tubing. I had a ScotGlas 5.5" Nike Smoke nose cone and it didn't fit LOC tubing.

Whose tubing was the Scotglas nose cone supposed to fit? The Scotglas guy should list on his site that it won't fit a LOC tube. Geez, that's the stuff everyone uses in that size.
