My 50 year old Laser X is finally ready for paint. It took a while to do up all the finishing touches because I'm a very deliberate builder and I wanted everything to be just right. The transition section was a major pain,it took several coats of TiteBond sanded between coats to get it to where it's passable.Should see it's first flight in Potter in early September. This is special to me because this was the last birthday gift my now deceased older brother gave to me on my 60th birthday.Thank you Dave,it's a shame you won't be here to see it fly.

Be sure to post up pictures of it for us.
I certainly will.Hoping to put it up at Torrey Farms in Potter, New York in early September.Couple of coats of grey primer then red, white and black.I also have a Semroc Laser X so if I get that one done it'll see the majority of flights there. No problem with C's, D's and E's there. The field is SO big that the possibility of losing low power rockets is not even worth considering.
