Hey Seattle Area Rocketeers – I’m not too good at reading the weather tea leaves, but it looks like some light showers this weekend. Friday might be the best day, then Saturday, Sunday looking a little worse.


I’m open any of those days and willing to take a chance. If you have preferences, let me know, the more the merrier!

Unfortunately, a score of 39 and change, good for around #125, so we missed finals and alternates. If the students had declared the last flight prior to their last scored flight, we’d be headed to DC.

The single best looking day is tomorrow. Friday, then maybe Sunday. If I wake up tomorrow and it looks good and I’ve had a decent nights sleep, I might fly, but I’ll probably wait u til Sunday and cross my fingers.

My weather app shows the least rain and lowest wind over the next 3 days to be Friday, tomorrow, the 26th.

The field will be wet, so wear boots if you come. I’m aiming to be there by noon.

Of course if the app lies, all bets are off.

It’ll be awfully wet and for complicated reasons including our power being out, I don’t get a lot of sleep, BUT, I’m still thinking of launching, HOWEVER not til at least 1 PM. The sun might even come out by then.

Wow, what a great day at acres. The weather turned out to be near perfect flights were fabulous and new friends were made.
