I'm trying to find any tech info on this. Sounds like a pulsejet AND a turbine. Is it a turbine with a pulsejet afterburner?

Turbine with afterburner.

Here is another example.

Thanks. I guess the pulse-jet sound most noticeable starting around 47 seconds into the video must be due to rapid pressure pulses related to some other characteristic of the unit.

Unless you're planning to go over 500 mph, a wheel driven turboshaft vehicle is going to outperform a non-wheel driven turbojet vehicle.

Why? Because the highest efficiency occurs when the vehicle velocity approached the exhaust velocity.....

A large pulsejet motor is considerably less complex, lighter, and way more impressive (loud)!
