Used retired Navy chute, from what I'm told this means it's normally discarded after so many uses. Not sure how large in diameter, maybe 10 feet as seen from tape measure. It weighs in at about ten pounds.

That must be a heavy-duty parachute - I have a similarly sized military surplus parachute that weighs under two pounds and my 16' Rocketman parachute is about five pounds with a 55' x 1" tubular nylon harness.
