was working on an alt sled and decided that it was time to bite the bullet and re-install the data transfer program for the PF stratologger. step 1) plug in the data cable, win10 found the device. step 2) install the software (2a run it and setup the port). step 3) plug everything in and power up the alt, yay! the program found the alt and I didn't have to fight with windows! that was nice. last time (with win7) I had to fiddle with usb drivers everytime I wanted to check settings* etc. that is one headache out of the way.
