NEFAR (https://www.nefar.net) is hosting a two-day research launch, November 14-15, near Daytona Beach, Florida. Bunnell Blast is the club's biggest launch of the year. The weather is usually great and flyers bring some really cool rockets.

Me? I just realized that Bunnell Blast is just a little over a week away. I haven't got anything ready to fly, but I may be able to pull something out of mothballs.

Thinking about paying a visit. It's been 5 years since I was there last.
 
I think they have a group rate at the Econo Lodge at US1 and I95. As of right now the individual rate is 51 dollars per night including tax. Lodge is pet friendly, but doesn't have the best reviews, so feel free to stay elsewhere. Ask for the "Rocket Rate" and use confirmation # 426658211. If that doesn't work check out the NEFAR facebook page for more info.

When is the next NEFAR launch scheduled?
 
I've been informed that the new launch site in SC will have it's launches no earlier than January 2016.

My backup plan was to take part at the NEFAR launch in December. I hope it will take place.
 
Didn't think last year's December launch had low turnout. Anyhow, I hope it's a "GO"!
 
I'll be coming from Germany via Greenville SC and I'll be needing to make hotel arrangements.

Don't disappoint me :)
