I should add:
I've flown that reload/delay combo once - so granted, a one flight data sample is not statistically valid. But, it sure seemed longer than 6 seconds to me. Ejection was well past apogee and the rocket was accellerating in ballistic when the chute did deploy. No damage, though. What I'm saying is that one flight might have been the AT "bonus" delay....
