I think Jenny is planning to help with registration, but with having to dedicate a whole day to our group project "Full Scale Patriot" and not knowing which will be the best day to fly it, I can not pick a time on the schedule since it may have to change. But I'm willing to sit at RSO when needed, so long as it doesn't conflict with that & maybe a few of my wife's bigger planned flights.

Im on the list.. Come on dudes... Lets ROCKET THIS EVENT!Grimracer

Thank-You Brother Grim...Your work ethic and, talents definitely do not go unnoticed by neither us nor your home club.:D

Yes I need to get on the list . And I need to talk to Curtis about some vendor support being sent my way for the raffle .

The Gross family has ALWAYS been an integral part of the development and, success that this club has enjoyed over the years! It would be hard too imagine not having your presence at Thunderstruck.
For anything you can do/will do while you are here....even while launching a "Boatload" of artillery...Thank-You.:D

Over the years i have been the...
1. Member at Large.
2. Prefect.
3. Vice President.
and,
4. The President.

Now i'm just *Public Enemy-Pain in the A$$*.

I've learned over the years that you are only as good as the people around and, beside you...We are now two weeks out...

Let the ground shake, the air rumble and, soil fly! This is going to be awesome!

Thanks Gus two things
One I have three kits from USR being sent to me for the raffle .
#2 I have a friend that does vending machines that has product he does not sell . New stock he got and can't send back . 50+ lbs candy ,snack mixes gum that we will set somewhere and have a bucket . On the honor system take some snacks out and put money in . At the end all the money will go to the club . Thinking most people will just grab stuff for the whole weekend , this could be some major money for the club glad I can help . Chris

Bob I will purchase my reload from you there for the EZI 65 drag race. This is Devin from Michiana rocketry. You took off before I had a chance to buy the reload from you on march 15th.

Received this morning the signed Class III Certificate of Authorization for the Full Scale Patriot! We plan to fly it on Saturday but like last year depends on the weather.

Yikes!:y: Let me guess: More Lime green...:puke:? Purple is an AWESOME color!

Jon? Do you have any of those "Teflon coated 15-15 things" lying around....I might want too buy a large grabfull or at least put my name on the list for the future.:D

Also, NICE rockets!

Thanks! Glad I’m not the only one (sure there’s many more).
Negotiated the room and matching shop (as Dennis mentioned) when we added onto the house. It helps when the family, including the wife, is into rocketry.

What is the size of that Pershing in the back?

Here! Let ME guess first...
I'd say.....oh, about. 8" in diameter...maybe...
Probably about 7'-6" tall... maybe....
Eyes could be off a little bit today.

Very good guess Gus! Pretty much dead on. Only flown it once, at NSL in Muncie just after the group’s launch of the ACME Spitfire upscale. She’s got a 75mm w/3 x 38mm outboards. One of these days, I’ll kick her in the $SS with everything she can take…

Hoping to bring out my EZI and Blackhawk 24 for Thunderstruck. The drag race should be a fun time for my EZI, which has a little extra weight in the back side and is currently suffering from severe runway rash. It's a wonderful thing to use a former Air Force Base now small airport for launches, but let's just say it's a pavement rich environment. My dorm room is undergoing a temporary conversion to workshop to fix the damage. Luckily, I don't have a roommate, so no complaints when I have to sand most of the rocket :)

Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great time!

Yup, was even stationed there at one time in my life...(long before you were ever born.) Now do i feel old.
Sanding in a dorm room:confused: "The Gus" recommends some *Do not enter tape* and, construction signs in front of your dorms bathroom...Late night sanding party in peace!;) Just bring along a bunch of munchies and, some cool tunes!

Let some schmuck who gets paid to clean up and, take out the trash worry about it the next day...

Always great too see you and, your Dad out at "The Grove"!

So how often does this conversation come up?

"Thinking about building a Patriot."
"Yeah? I did."
"Really? I was thinking 4". What size did you build?"
..."full scale"...

I've got to see this thing fly this year!!

The Firehawk is repaired and ready to go after the 2008 MWP shred. An I285 will be the motor of choice for flight #16

Here is a secret project to be flown and shown at Thunderstruck. It's an upscale of a low power project I designed a while back. It's probably unlike anything you've seen fly  First flight on either a H123 or I161.

Not pictured, but my Eagle Claw does have a KBA K750 to be flown as well. We will have plenty of low-mid power stuff too. See you all there!
