At this point we need 7 pads for the drag race. how many pads are available? If we end up with 2 heats I will kick in 2 more motors for the heat winners for a run off.

We can do 16 (plus another 16 on the K-L banks), though to avoid holding up the range (i.e., putting the system into Armageddon mode), it's easiest to do 8 at once. I can relinquish my drag race spot if somebody else really wants to play, I'll probably be so busy LDing that I may not get time to prep and fly.

David,

I'm also in the drag race and will probably spend much time as Assistant LCO, we can take turns prepping our rockets. Should be a Fair and Impartial launch with the LCO's in on the race.

Before everybody starts posting remarks you need to remember........oh forget it, you're going to post any way.

Think most people in the drag race is doing something rso, running a round and flying

If we go over 8 flyers. We can run 2 heats and I'll kick in the 2 motors for the top 2 flyers that want to go again for a fly off.

Thanks to the great Indiana weather goofing up the launches I will be shipping the EZI65 kits to the folks that want to start building them and I will cover the shipping cost.
also the I65 motors were to be released in Dec. but are on hold for 54mm cases. if they are not out before T.S we need to come up with plan B either !40W 400NS at half off ($20.00 race price) or I280DM 6 NS ($27.00 race price).
For the folks wanting the kit now shoot me a check and there address and I will ship the kit out ASAP.
Thanks

Who is the new Treasurer? I'd like to join IRS before registering for TS. I'll even sign up to help.

Hopefully the address and 'how-to' information on the IRS website is correct? Else someone is looking at a check from me scratching their head...

Looks like the next club meeting is next Sunday at 7p. Is this at the Extension office that's across from the mall?

Can you confirm which motors you're talking about? I see that I'm not the only one to hit the ! when I meant to do something else!

I went ahead and signed up for TS5, and paid dues to the club. I'll catch up the paperwork as soon as robot season is over or at TS.

Mailing my yearly membership in today. I will take care of Thunderstruck registration by the weekend.

Still no word from AT on the I65 looks like (from the input I got) we will replace it with the I280DM yes it is a 38mm and I will have adaptors for the folks that don't have them.
looks like 7 EZI65's to go up at once (so far). It is not to late to get in on the drag race. if we need 2 racks we can do a run off and I will pay for the motors of the top 2.

Altitude, first off the pad, first down under chute (not damaged)? Or a combo. we can hammer that out in march (as long as the weather gods dont get angry again. talked to the folks at AT and the are hoping to have the I65 out before TS. I will have the I280 motors just in case.

Ok so infomation on the I 65 still The same thrust curve as the old 65 . Getting everything buttoned up so can be ready for both motors,

on my ezI65 the I65 will need 19 oz to be stable and nothing on the I280 DM . hope we will know a few days before but 7 or more of these going up on DM motors would be very cool

I'm at 10 g of expoxy weight of the ez is 32.1oz added a eye bolt and quick link to top cr with the I65 its .35 cal and needs 19oz to get to 1.06 cal
