I was concerned too, Pm'd some of the guys last week and they have not heard a thing. Hopefully he's on walkabout.

OK. I called him. All I got was the answer machine. Asked him to touch base with me when he had the chance.

I know where he lives and can be there in a few hours. We have launched a rocket or two together, but not at his launch site.
I can't check on him until this W/E, but I will if need be.

Since we are looking for lost sheep, has anyone seen SpaceAXEplorer? His last visit was January 9, and I have emailed him since there but no responses. I'll call him this afternoon if no one else knows anything.

Im alive and kicking TRFers.
Thanks for the concerns, very much appreciated.
I got somethings going on,nothing bad, not depressed, anything health whys, just time wanted/needed to get away from the
"crowds" of life.
End of year, blinking lights, sales, holidays, ect all gone,
Midway thru winter...
I've kinda been in hibernation and enjoying it.
Now I have the time to sit back and sort out some feelings, thoughts, what ifs, whys, ects of they year past and then Im putting them away.
Havent had a smoke in almost three weeks...thats been a challenge.
Just laying real low and flying under the radar with only the essential systems booted up.
A cleansing of sorts......

And just so ya know Im not totally out of touch..."Kodiac" and I did fly some last Sunday.

EDIT...Thanks for the PMs guys...my hats off to ya all

Good luck to the both of you. A year ago I tried Champix and it didn't work - in fact, I think I ended up smoking more with the stress of trying to give up!

Then a month or so before Christmas my doctor gave me a course of Xyban and after 2 weeks taking that, I stopped smoking. I haven't had one since!!

It's not easy, but make sure your friends and workmates know you're trying to give up, their support can really make the difference.

PM me if you want. Happy to answer questions or simply offer words of encouragement.

Good luck to all of you that are quitting smoking.

I tried dozens of times and knowing that I couldn't smoke ever again drove me nuts!

So I decided that I just wouldn't smoke TODAY! I might tomorrow but not today. So the pressure was off because I could smoke tomorrow if I wanted.

I am coming up on 33 years of not smoking today. I don't ever think that I ever officially said I quit.

Coming from a household where both parents smoked, my siblings and I do not smoke. Amazing!

Good to hear from ya again, and I get the need to ride under the radar from time to time!

YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!!!
Today is today and thats all there is.
I been wanting to stop for some time now.
Tried all the gizzmos, but I knew I wouldnt stop till I had my head right.
I was ready and at 11.00 am Friday the 11th of Jan.
I went cold turkey and laid down my new (one missing) pack of Marlbros and said.."See ya later..MAYBE"
That pack is still on the table out on the porch.
