We (Hot Tub Rocketry) flew the 3" DarkStar this past weekend. She flew on a research 54mm 6xl motor L900...ish

It was a perfect flight with perfect recovery.

I cant wait to finish the 2 stage booster....Oops, did I say that out loud??

2 stage is pretty cool. How high do you think it will go?

With an L935 to an L935, it should be 25-28K (I think) first flight is goong to be a 3 way drag race with Wildman and The Lumberjack on K2045 boost to K300

No, it was a BrandX case with Albino Assault Propellant.

Looks like 10,930' - a two-miler - by the baro sensor, 759MPH max speed at a distance above ground which is about 1100' (I would trust the accel data on this one) but appears to be right smack dab on Mach 1.

Attached is a zoomed in screen shot - light grey is MPH, dark gray is Acceleration-integrated^2 altitude, blue is barometric altitude.

Looks like the Temp channel is messed up. I don't think it was 58 Deg F anywhere in the Midwest Recently. Especially at Bong where I think you launched :y:

Flew it at the QCRS home field in Princeton Il. Recovery was with our eyes.....then, my feet. I did have a tracker on board but it was not needed. The dual deploy was set for main at 1200',drogueless from apogee.

By the way, the temp sensor is not screwed up, it's a black rocket in the sun. Wait till summer time when your data says its 160+ outside!!!!

No , really-probably a K2045 boost to a K300. I plan on an L935 - L935 some day, if I ever make an Airfest.

Drag race for sure if we can all be ready at the same time. But be warned, you are now the 4 th in on this. Wildman, Hot Tub 2 and myself are all planning on the 2 stage race....Indiana is in for a great launch!!!

I have a feeling about half the "drag races" will not happen due to timing. I am signed up for all of them though!!!! LOL!!
