Pretty cool looking (and sounding) flight:

Very nicely built model to be able to fly that slow and that well.

The design would make for a really nice R/C Rocket Glider.

I was surprised it was THAT BIG though, for an "indoor" model.

Had no idea about that T-20 Kolibri turbine. 255 grams mass, 50mm (about 2") dia, 150 mm (about 6") long. Thrust of 2.4 kg. Cost... if you have to ask you can't afford it (2,260 Euros, tax and shipping not included).

Show of hands... How many thought that it was going to impact a wall or the ceiling at some time during the flight, then come crashing down in pieces?

It seems more like it should have been titled, "R/C Jet Flies Indoors"... it was obviously rather constrained. It would be nice to see what it does outdoors... my guess is that they probably could have opened up the throttle a LOT more.

surprising that they allow a gas turbine in an enclosed space, especially a gym..
I guess to say 'we did it'..
