I got tired of running nuts up and down rods, usually 4 sets to do or more.
I made this simple tool anyone can make in less the 15 min.
You need the following:
-3/8" socket driver bit for your battery drill.
-12" of 1/2" cpvc pipe
-24" or longer of 1/2" copper pipe.
-1/2" deep-well socket, 3/8" drive (for 5/16" rods)

Cut one - 1/2" slice on one end of the cpvc pipe.
Insert 3/8" drive bit in the cpvc, put a fuel line hose clamp and tighten.
Insert Cpvc pipe in the copper pipe about 1 1/2" , wrap that joint tightly with electrical tape.
Insert socket in the other end of the copper pipe. Seal with tape and start running those nuts at high speed.
Check other pipes and fill on with electrical tape to make 1/4" or 3/8" rods.Screenshot_20200301-100705_Video%20Player.jpeg

I build them starting at one end and work my way down.
I lay out CR locations for rail buttons, fins, etc .
This one has central 4", 8- 38mm outboards. I'm running nuts up and a down a lot.
