I am wiring up a full-size T-LOC and saw in another thread I saw some wiring covers for the wires going from the altimeter to the wiring blocks on the top of the 3rd centering ring.

I’m trying to figure what it is and what I should use to protect the wires. I think they are there to protect the wires from the heat from the motor and the ejection charge.

Not sure of ?, but one needs to protect the altimeters from stray pressurization from the ejection charges. For wires that I run from inside the ebay to the charge wells, I fill in the holes on both side of the bulkhead with either epoxy or hot glue. Also, I use rubber washers with the steel washers on the all threads holding the bay together. Again, to minimize any pressure spikes into the altimeter bay.
