Nice flight on that purple DSL. The purple/white X-Type chute looks good to.

Hi Jim,

I'm about to start building a Darkstar Jr, just sanding and dry fitting at the moment. Have enjoyed reading your build chronicle for the 3", and am hoping to make use of a tailcone that doubles as a retainer, but I'm having trouble finding one that reduces from the 2.1" body to the 38mm MMT. Any suggestions?

Tubes and nose cones over the fin roots? Cut down parts or hand made layup?
Cut down Loc tubing and nose cones for the pods over the fins. Epoxied on and filled with expanding foam.
Basswood for the strakes
