I just placed an order with Wildman. I guess he is going to get another one.

They're heerre............... build thread soon.

The BlackHawk 38mm First flight on CTI 595 6xl blue streak. 12188ft. weighed 1.9 ready....4.7 with motor. Von Karmen cone.Beat the Goose!
Good news for future BH38 owners to be. Ya it's a clone, slightly shorter, but the largest motors still fit. So what, it's less than 1/2 the price for better performance!

Raced Mongoose 38 on same, went 11010...weighed 4.3 with motor. Conical cone.

Mongoose 269.00
Blackhawk Carbonite 38mm 125.00 complete. With fin guides & the black high temp epoxy.

Flies on G's H's I's J's!!!!

Jim;

I got the BH 38 from Tim at RG and am really looking forward to building it.

Before I start, I had a couple of quick questions...

What was the speed on the CTI 595?

How did you anchor your harness on the booster? Tim mentioned using a ring with push-pin combo, but I'm not sure I understand totally what to do there.

Thanks!

I'm working on the manual and a build thread, it will be up soon.
The recovery is attached to a coupler, then held in place with rivets or screws or glued. I put coupler in, push it past where the rivet holes are, put in the rivets, then pull coupler up to them. Did not drill through the coupler. I did not use a bulkplate or baffle in this one since it is DD. Wanted to be able to friction and bang out the motor.

Just an upscaled version of the 29mm retention. Check out that manual to see for now.

The Black Hawks are great. AT MWP-9 I flew my Shadow Aero Raven on a Kosdon J-1500 to 10572' I was happy with it. When can I buy a Black Hawk 54????????????

Have a Great Turkey Day to all

This is an old thread but does anyone have a RockSim or OpenRocket file for the Blackhawk 24?
