That has become a classic photo, Fred. I used it as the background on my computer at work for quite a while!
Were those C6-3s?
Awesome picturesOk, ladies and gentlemen, I've flown my Saturn - V yesterday. Rather than rehash everything all over again, just go to my Facebook album link below for complete report and plenty of pics. In addition to the Saturn - V, I also flew my Thor-Agena B and Saturn I SA-5. Had a lot of fun, but it was hot, hot & HOT!!!

You can also see Jeff Roberts full launch report in the Regional & Local Events section here at TRF. Thanks for all the encouragement and support!

I agree, great photos, thanks for sharing. What adhesive did you use on the clear fins for your Thor-Agena B? I'm having a heck of a time with mine.
Awesome picturesWas it you satV that got a smushed CSM? I've done far worse then that I can assure you
Still one liftoff shot in paticular was very nice
Congrats
fred
I've been prepping my Saturn V for launch this weekend. It needs a lot of nose weight! With 4 A10pt's and one D12-3 it comes in at 21.5oz! Adding up the max weights of all the motors I get 26oz, so I should be ok. My C/G is exactly 17.5 in from the bottom of the fairings. I don't really want to add any more nose weight.
We shall see...I hope the weather holds.

Yup, I know she's heavy. Needed a lot of mass to move the CG forward.
