Who sells BT50H?

I think the LOC 38mm airframe/motor mount tubing might be close in size to the BTH-60 ?

38mm AF/MMT is typically the same ID as Estes bt60 -coupler-, much larger OD

Unfortunately, a composite tube, while being the same size, is not "BT-50" ( a Kraft paper tube ).

At almost $10 / ft, and weighing more, the fiberglass tubing is a non-starter, at least for me.

I don't know? I've never seen it in a kit or vendor inventory.

I -do- know that you can use LOC 38mm cones on Estes bt60 tubes by using an Estes coupler.

Merlin Missiles' "The Sword" uses this technique.

LOC has 24mm MMT in 18" length, but they don't publish it's dimensions. (though as you said, length reduces it's usefulness)

I'm in a similar boat. I want to rebuild a Q-Modeling kit. They used BTH-60 which I cannot locate.

Might work, but I will have to measure the nosecone and see what actual dimensions I need. It has been so long ago that I might just move on.
