For the longest time our rockets lived in my son's bedroom. Now that he's 14 and "too old" for rockets, he wants them out.
I reloacated them to the living room on top of the china cabinet.
Just waiting for the wife to come home and say something.

I intend to move them down to the spare bedroom, but we are in the middle of remodeling. Was even thinking about the garage.
So I gotta ask...would your wife let you keep your rockets on the china cabinet?

No, my wife wouldn't let me put rockets on the china cabinet. Mine all hang from my garage ceiling. The garage has heat and a/c. There is something more that 180 rockets up there. The garage is where I spend most of my time.20211010_190004[1272].jpg20211010_190022[1273].jpg

I recently built a rack for them in our son's "play" room (4 bedroom house, one kid, so he has a room full of legos, computer, etc). Just a 6' 1x6 with 5/8 dowels. Some others are on a large bookshelf in the same room.

Some live in a wine box in the basement, which also becomes a launch transport box. One of our favorite wineries (St. Julian in Michigan) shipped bottles in a box that has great pockets for holding rockets once you fill it with packing peanuts.

Up in the rafters, in the basement, for projects. In the rafters over the basement work out room, for completed rockets. They're pretty much hidden this way.

Most of mine are in the basement (there is a second level of shelves below what is shown). My FG ones are in the garage. The shelves are basically full - and my wife says I can't build more (going to need to get more creative where I stash them)

What does PIE mean?
My guess is "Put It Everywhere".
If so that's what I would vote for.
I spend a lot of time on ARFCOM (AR15.com) and when one makes a poll in that forum you can't see the results unless you vote. PIE or "I like Pie" is for those who don't want to vote, but want to see the results. It's included in most every poll. I haven't posted polls here before and didn't realize the results can be seen before you vote here. Sorry for the confusion.

I have a dedicated area in the basement for building and another for storage.

To complicate things even more, I have an area in the build room where every rocket goes when it comes back from flying so it can be looked over and any cleanup or repairs can be made before it's moved back out to storage.

I also try to fly every rocket at least once per year so I have two separate spaces and rockets get moved from one location to the other when flown. Of course there are a couple of rockets that go out almost every time we fly as well. :)
