What's your favorite Aero-Tech 54/1706 motor?
Which ones the loudest?

K456 should be pretty shouty.

For me the best is the K805 Mojave Green. I initially chose it for the total impulse and thrust curve. That the green flame is really excellent is a nice bonus.

They both certainly make their mark.... I love greens, but that K1100T shot straight up....

I really like loud motors, but I like them all the more with a longer burn time.
My brother has a K805G, and I was wondering if there's a louder motor, with a long burn time that fits a 54/1706 case?

Long can be nice, but far too many people stick them in rockets that are too heavy because they've heard long burns are "better"

I love the K-805 in my 54mm min diameter Space Cowboy from Bad Azz. It does 14,500’ and Mach 1.4. I think i need to try a K1103 or K1100, and see how much faster it can go...

Sustainer stage MD multi I think a 185W would work. I wouldn't use it on a single stage rocket though or one with bulkheads.

If you want "loud"..
and there's a metal storm or dark matter or Spit Fire in the choices..
That'll be the loudest every time..

K185 is an awesome one to fly, but don't forget your forward extended closure.

In my experience with this motor casing, the K695 was the loudest. I voted for the K456 as my favorite so far. It makes for great pictures.

I like sparky motors, (especially the dark matter), but the K540 Metalstorm outperforms the K456 DM, so it's my "go to" motor for that case. I also keep a couple K456's for when it doesn't matter. Both are plenty loud.

I've flown the K1100 and K550, but I have a K2050 coming this round from Wildman's sale... Both K1100 and K550 are equally awesome. I flew both in the Screech and the K1100 was probably the most impressive at that level of awesomeness. Can't imagine what the K2050 will bring!

Then I guess the L1040 would be Plaid!!!

And yes, a Loki 54/2800 will fit in a Screech in stock form................barely.

AT K2050ST is probably the loudest of all of those, but the burn time isn't very long. It's only .7 seconds.
