Or, if you have one, what size chute do you use with it?
Final Build Weight on my son's is 1.7 lbs (including recovery gear). Built per instructions, + foam in the boattail.
Usually fly it a little heavier with an APE nosecone sled. We'll use anywhere from a 15" to a 24" chute depending on where we're flying, winds, and whether or not JLCR is attached. Flew it twice this past weekend at Bong with a 15" chute and everything came down great.

GREAT rocket. If you can swing it, StickerShock's decals look amazing on this little firecracker.

Thanks!

Also, what do you put on the airframe to make it translucent?

We used black primer to even out the color and bring the black up to the leading edge of the fins to make it more like the Demon 98, then clearcoat on top. We're planning to fly then simultaneously to about the same altitude... that'll be a cool race.

So are you going to cheat when you fly against your own son? Just like you cheated when you flew against me and Tim the wildman? :)
