I just got Dueces wild built, and I was wandering what if anything I can apply to the soft fins to strengthn.......

A number of choices that i've used in the past...

Sanding sealer will do a bit to strengthen them.

Soaking the surface in ultra-thin CA glue

Layering them in tissue (like they used to do airplane wings - jap-tissue)

Layering them in regular bond paper (printer paper) with white glue or contact adhesive.

I've done all of these and they work great to strengthen fins and help harden them up.

I have used the CA method.
I don't know if it's just me but the CA leaves a very rough and hard to sand surface, but leaves the fins hard as a rock.
I have found it works best if done before attaching the fins, so you can lay them flat and get a good bite with the sandpaper.
Also, do this in a well ventilated area.
I have also used 3/4 oz. glass but that may be a bit too much for the Duece.
