An Estes V2, which started life as an Estes Canadian Arrow. right now it's just the MMT, Tail Cone and Fins, because I stole its Body Tube and Nose Cone for other Builds. I keep wanting to find a new Nose Cone, since I have extra BT-80 Tubes on hand, but I just get busy with other stuff, or I go to order one and can't find them in Stock, or I see them but have no Money to order them.

I got tons of nose cones, what ya need. I'm cheep like a red headed step child. I'll see what I have. I could use a little greenies for the holidays.

I stopped buying stuff about a year ago... I've got the equivalent of a large tote full of LPR kits and another similar volume of scratch building parts. I am running low on BT50 / BT50H / BT55 / BT55H so I may make an order somewhere sometime soon. Also need to pick up a bag or two of tiny nose cones that make for the ends of pods... Other than that I'm good for a year or two (or three). I would only buy something if I absolutely wanted it for a scratch build, at this point.

Tools, on the other hand, are open game. See that "Rulers" thread... some of those just got added to my holiday wish list.

I don't have as many as some, but I have more than I would like to admit to myself. My prizes are an original DG&A Mini-Armageddon, a Semroc Saturn 1B, and a Cosmodrome Vostok. I dearly want to build them but I can't yet bring myself to. I usually keep a stock of LPR/MPR scratchbuilding parts on hand, too.

I am widowed and have a much larger house than I need. It is not always good to be left to your own devices! If I ever downsize my home or choose to remarry, maybe I will have my own version of The Great Kit Liquidation Sale...which I did participate in as a buyer, by the way.

My biggest problem is that my building rate has decreased due to my job taking so much if my time and energy, yet I still buy at the same rate. Particularly when I see a good deal or something rare. I figure it will give me something to do when I retire...

Mostly stored in plastic totes in the shed (No garage, but three sheds - one insulated/heated as my workshed). I had to remind my wife when she saw the totes that she bought about 1/2 of them for me as gifts...

E Tu, Brutus? Hmmm- seems rocket yard art is a really poor idea after all. This after the Viking Princess found out that 'sewer pipe' is NOT fiberglass and only comes in 48" lengths....I think she's on to the sono tubes also.

Papa seagull... the Sono tubes are just beds for junior rocketeers... remember?
Matt- I'm installing heat, lights and stereo into one for your visit. Eventually it too will have to be fiber-glassed. Makes it more snuggly and weather proof!

I have 7 BT50 tubes 34" stashed and my order to BMS included 4 34" BT55 and 3 34" BT60 tubes, as well as the rest of the order ...then there's the SEMROC order...I don't have but 2 kits...and over 50 cones...with 40 more on the way

I opted not to pick my 8" Darkstar up until LDRS34 and won't start the build until next fall, but when I bring it home and the wife sees it I may end up living in it.

As for as the kit pile, well I have a different approach. I finally just started to build them all at once and do the production line thing, MMT and CR, fins, fillets, etc. I currently have 12 kits on the go all approaching priming.

Sadly I also have 3 kits left in the pile.

If I had enough free time to go catalog them all, my list wouldn't be nearly as long as it is. I estimate between 30 and 40 kits are in my garage in bags, mostly LPR. I have a few large MPR builds that are on hold because of weather and time constraints.

About a dozen of the kits are random LPR birds I've gotten at Michaels with coupons, and I use them for parts or to give away to kids to encourage them to continue beyond their first RTF.

I'de mentioned that I had the Tail Cone and MMT Assembly for an Estes V2 as my only unbuilt kit, but tonight I repurposed the Tailcone for my TALOS Scratch Build, so the MMT can pretty much just go in the Miscelaneous Stuff Box, leaving me with no actual "Kits" that are unbuilt.
If someone does'nt put out a cool kit that meets my Interests, which they won't, I wonder if I'll ever buy another kit again, since I'de much rather just scratch build a Rocket.

I feel sorry for anybody that has to obey what the other half says, all that aside, to answer you Q, I have an SR 71 Blackbird kit waiting for me. I usually don't do kits, but I like this one.

OK, I started reading this thread to guilt myself into not buying any more kits until I'd built more of the ones I have. I definitely try to buy only what I'm going to build immediately. Now, though, I'm not feeling so guilty! Thanks guys!
