I use the European terminal block for ejection charge connections. How they got this name, I don't know. Anyway, I liked the ones I bought from Radio Shack many moons ago. I recently bought a mega-pack from Amazon and they seem to be of lesser quality. The screws don't turn as smoothly. Worse, the screws have a sharp edge on the bottom that can easily cut through 20-22 ga ematch wires.

Are there different levels of design/quality on these things? Or, is it just the natural progression to the lowest possible cost Chinese manufacturing, like everything else?

Maybe I will switch to little, green terminal blocks like those on altimeters, but I am always afraid they will melt during ejection blasts.

Buy Phoenix brand rather than lesser quality. Digikey has them.

Amazon is becoming the Sears of the internet. It used to be the go to place, but now they have so much crap from China you need to be careful on what you buy from them.

Yeah these European ones are White, nowhere near as nice as the opaque ones I used to get at RadioShack

I ordered some terminal blocks from Digikey a few days ago and they just got delivered today, I'm hoping there of better quality than these European style ones are. I'll post a pic of them when I get home, I bought a LOT of 25 single units so I don't have to cut and sand each one. Total cost shipped was 20.38

As I stated above here are the Terminal Blocks I got. I have to say for this type of TB theses are by FAR! the best I have ever seen, there strong have a nice positive screw and plenty of space on the screw head to last and get a good bite on it. If you look close you'll also see that there is a plate between the threaded screw and the wire your connecting to it, 1 that stops the screw from twisting the wire and 2 it makes it almost impossible to cut through the wire with the screw by tightening it to much.

Size is L-W-H in mm 20.30x16.60x15.90 Below is the part # if you wanted to order them.
