They may, after I find the right wrappers, buy the right noodles, and nail the oil temp/time
I will be at my stained glass class tonight.. 2nd class, out of 8.. 4th year doing stained glass..
Sounds like fun. Now, if only you could do a stained glass nose cone, or payload section. With lights inside.
(Or, one could use plastic sheets and wood sticks to imitate leaded glass. For a night launch. Hmmm...)
Great minds think alike!
With a clear payload section, some faux leaded glass paint and liquid lead, and some self contained battery operated led lights, your only limit is your imagination.
Stained FINS should be totally doable with laser cut acrylic embedded in a FG layer.
The Cathedral rocket?
Flying buttresses attached to the fins?
It boggles the mind.
No, Flying Buttress is definitely the name :-D
this is the project I've started..
So it's just a big flat panel? I guess it could be a fin.
Seriously, the pattern is nice and I'm sure it will be lovely.
Joe, it's a stained glass panel.
Ah, sorry. Usually when someone's being facetious it's obvious.
Am I being too facetious?
Plug's holding at 25psi so far, honestly a little surprised it appears to have worked.
Been there, done that many times.
Looks like you did it right (I have never done it, just seen it done.)
I still can't tell what size of tractor that is. (John Deere 2010? something else)

And, we have a winner! Congratulations.
As for last night....
Not today, but this weekend: celebrated my birthday by being told that the water heater was leaking, drove an hour to get a new one (didn't like the brands locally available), removed the old one with much and varied language (not sure that it was made to ever be removed, had to cut some places with my dremel to remove it...), installed the new one. Then found out our shower head was on the fritz, so another trip to the big-box store for a new hand shower. Houses and cats are alike in that they both own you.
Happy birthday, Terry!
When I bought my first house, my brother-in-law told me "Congratulations, you're a home owner, which means never having a lack of something to do."
And Happy Birthday.
Hey, now we know what you sound like.
Little windstorm a while ago. Needed to get up on a ladder about 20 ft with a chainsaw. Yeah, I know.
Tomorrow I get to chip this mess. Should keep me busy for a little while.
Working on wing mock-up. Angles are close, but need refining.
