Another day of logging firewood. I'll likely be doing that for the rest of this month at the least. Gotta' be ready for winter.
Last year I was running my wood stove as late as may. We had a horribly cold spring this year and I had to get more wood. I'm going to get more than I think I'll need just in case we have to go all the way into may again.

Inventoried a Family Dollar. Had to drive 40 minutes to the office from the house, then back to Covington, about 8 miles from where I live. When done, had to drive the crew back to the office, then back to Covington to go home.

/sigh

Oh! And I got my Anest Iwata Gunsa AZ3 HTE2 HVLP and air regulator in the mail today. Just need the air compressor, hose and a place to paint the LOC Goblin...

Tried again, in vain, to chase down a spare part for my Sip air compressor. <sarcasm> It's only 20 years old, how can it be so hard to source parts? </sarcasm>

A company in the UK has the part I need, but 'we don't post overseas'. Seriously? It's a dipstick, not a crankcase. How hard can it be?

I had an Iwata LPH400 automotive spray gun when I was spraying regularly, great atomization.

Refused the settlement offer of the scammer that got me for 71.93 on the web, I called Paypal the last day of the 6 months and had them re-open up the case. I found out that the EMS shipping tracking info is a site by criminals that make you think your item is going through all the different paths to arrive at your house which takes a month. Paypal advised me to file a internet criminal case on the IC3.gov site

I played 2 Lp's today, as I'm going to try and play 2 each day and try to listen to all 520 before I die. Spent more time researching Reel-to-Reels and hit the motherload as there is a repair specialist who has over 100 of them only 12 mile from me, and has invited me over to check them out.

The 15th and 16th I binge-watched live feed coverage of a train derailment and cleanup on the Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri, city line on Virtual Railfan's cameras at Santa Fe Junction, Kansas City.
Happened about 2 hours from my town and about 40 minutes from where Mom & Dad live; if my health were better to where that distance could be driven, I'd have gone to see it in person then stayed overnight at Mom & Dad's.

played 3 lp's I hadn't listened to in 30 years, another day of feeling like I've been run over by a semi, and 20hrs in bed

Yesterday, I picked up my car from the mechanic's, then took it to the tire store to get the front left tire replaced (had a huge bulge on the side and they replaced it for $1!), then stopped by The Meat House and picked up Brisket/Sirloin/Short Rib Burgers, Mo'Peppa Breakfast Sausage, smoked bacon and hot dogs.

Received and read a 16-page issue of "Puck" Magazine from August 10, 1898. The magazine circulated weekly from 1871 to 1918 and included a lot of political humor cartoons (this issue features Kaiser Wilhelm on the cover), as well as jokes, humorous poems and stories. The color illustrations, done with lithography, are amazing throughout, especially the 2-page spread "centerfold" included in every issue. Though, not too surprisingly, most of the humor hasn't dated extremely well, relying on cringe-worthy puns and now obscure cultural references. It also includes some racial and ethnic stereotypes then deemed acceptable, including dialect and grotesque depictions of blacks, Irish, Italians and just about any group one can conceive of. Since the Spanish-American War was going on at the time, the issue also contains two cartoons heavily suggesting that women won't even think of courting any man who hasn't enlisted. Probably the most interesting section is the 2 pages of advertisements in the back (see below). Overall, an interesting, and really not very expensive, experiment in time travel.

Went to WM and got some some flat white spray primer and paint for bathroom mirror trim project. Also restocked my light bulb inventory and replaced several burnt out bulbs around the house. Repaired electrical plug on vacuum cleaner (Kirby vacuum cleaner--going on over 35 years since purchased).

After the CMASS launch today, I came home and pretended I was a lumberjack. I just used a cheap Echo saw with a rechargeable battery. It was surprisingly effective.

Loaded up the goose decoys and inserted the plug into the shotgun so it only holds 2 shells. Gonna try for a few of those Canada geese tomorrow

Did you skip and jump, and like to press wild flowers, and put on..............I think I'll stop there... :D

Best -- Terry (not a lumberjack but I'm okay, I sleep all night and I work all day...)
