What ever happened to "MACH MADNESS" ??

I have heard of it before especially a couple of years ago. Does it still exist?? If so, can you enter and fly your rocket at ANY launch?
And is there a prize?

I've seen it used to refer to contests at several events, or events themselves.... not really a running thing.

Used to be a regular thing at Thunderstruck, an event in the Spring put on by Indiana Rocketry (at least most recently) where top velocity over the three day weekend was the winner. Unfortunately the Field was lost and the regular event has been put "on hold."
