Hi forum,
I have been using 2 mil Mylar from Tap Plastics as a cleaving layer on top of the mandrel for a fiberglass layup of body tubes. I have problems with the Mylar not separating from the fiberglass after the mandrel is removed. Its very difficult to try and remove a piece that is stuck down inside a body tube that is to small to get a hand in. Does anyone use something besides Mylar? Does anyone wax the Mylar before starting with the resin?
Thanks,
Jim
