Finished up the Estes Bullpup that was inspired by @Messedupryan and @GlenP and the Cherokee E that was inspired by seeing it on the rack at HL when I had a coupon...

No pics of the Cherokee yet, but it looks like the face card except that I painted one fin blue to match the nose cone. Here's the 'Pup:

That is one pretty rocket! Hope she flies as well as she looks!

Outstanding totally detailed to the Max. Well done. :clapping:

I got a serious haul of stuff from a facebook marketplace seller this morning. She was asking 120 for it all but when I offered 60 for just the stratus gale, rotary revolution, and engines (wasn't into the pre built models) she countered with 80 for all of it. Glad I took it too, her uncle who built them put in some serious work

The additional build/repair pile should keep me busy for some time.

Put a deposit on getting a 10'x20' shed built in my back-yard. 8' will be for yard and garden tools/supplies, but the remaining section will be for a a rocket storage/building area. Wife was tired of smelling epoxy/paint/etc in the house and wants her 3rd bedroom back, so she encouraged me to do this. Even after it's built, I will need to do some wiring, insulation and sheet rock work, but that's ok. I am pumped thinking about how to lay out things in my new "Man Cave". Only bad news is it will not be until this fall before they can get it done.:(

I made the final plans for what is becoming an annual “zoom build sessions” with the elementary school my boys both attended.

Then I dug out 20 BSM school rocket kits I had left over from last year’s build class and added parts for a payload bay add-on, printed instructions, ran to the craft store for empty 2oz squeeze bottles, filled those with titebond II and threw everything into ziplock bags for distribution to students next week.

I guess it’s time to start thinking of a new paint theme…

Tired of looking at the spirals on the body tube of the main Bus on the Thales Starstreak............. So..... filling and sanding, and sanding and filling...

Bought a spray can of "Kromebrite" liquid chrome enamel paint to try out in the build as well.

We want to see the Kromebrite :questions: 🤣AFTER application... and on the rocket!

Me too. 😁 With temps and humidity the way it is here at the moment, I'm going to have to resist the temptation to rush in. Need to let the basecoats sit and cure properly so I minimise the chances of any funny chemical reactions. If it turns our s**t then I might have to use that nice shiny cap from the spraycan! :p

I accomplished my L1 Cert with a LOC IV. You know how everyone says to take it easy, don't modify the rocket, use the lowest power motor? It's great advice. I didn't follow it :D The little ricochets that I took to get here were something else. Good lessons though. Cesaroni I350. Just for the record, gray is a paint color :D
