You said you had four countdowns with no launch. That implies that you succeeded on your fifth try. Your user name is "Five". Wally said "User name checks out".I don't get it

Maybe the shipper should think about the type of a box he uses before deciding on a ten year old box that will not hold up in transit.
I know I didn't!Wow. I suspect Wally and Neil are the only two people who got that.

I admit. It took me a day or two to figure it out.Successful launch on try number Five, no?
Making a rocket shorter!
I don't know if the B motor in cold weather was underpowered due to the camera attached or not.
I straightened the crumpled Flip Flyer nose tube and launched it again sans camera with a C motor and it soared rather high!
It was surprised the amount of drift from the 'copter. I have the nose call me attached with a kevlar string. Good thing or the nose would have drifted away...
Awesome kit was the Cherokee -D. Glad to see you got it. I have many Aerobee-Hi rockets. 1958 version. My favorite.Received this gem in the mail from @njspence 's fund raiser! Have a pic of a Semroc Cherokee-D I am working on now in the background! Just love these Cherokee-D's.
Where did you fly in Cape May?View attachment 438862
Here is a North Coast Rocketry "Lance Beta" rocket 29mm. A very nice design and flys very nice. It went almost out of sight and landed a 1/4 mile away. The Video was taken in Cape May, New Jersey. It still flys today.
Condolences. But awesome. But mostly condolences. This is an Upscale 29mm Arcon Rocket I built. The G80 reload Cato's at Ignition. The foam nose cone desintergrated before the rocket hit the ground. Must have been pretty hot. Filmed in Tamarac , Florida off of I-75.

Is there a standard bit of rocketry slang for "flaming fireball of death"?This is an Upscale 29mm Arcon Rocket I built. The G80 reload Cato's at Ignition. The foam nose cone desintergrated before the rocket hit the ground. Must have been pretty hot. Filmed in Tamarac , Florida off of I-75.

Dude, are those surfboard fins?Got the fins finished for a new prototype, 'Main Beach'. Starting to really like TTW ply fins for LPR.
Dude, are those surfboard fins?
Gnarly.
(Do surfers still say that, or am I dating myself)?
You're on Oahu, and you're asking us about surfers?(Do surfers still say that, or am I dating myself)?
Sure it's not Purl and Skeg's Big Adventure with foreword by F. G. Lamination? If the kit goes ahead it will come with a 500 word short story explaining the rocket's history, 'Phil and Skeg's Big Adventure', featuring rocket designer Bruce Lamington.
This was at a big grassy field on Route 9 just outside of Dennisville that is just a few minutes from Cape May . I put in Cape May because I dont think many people know of Dennisville New Jersey.Where did you fly in Cape May?
