Drove to a Lego store and purchased the recently-released Space Shuttle set.
I'm so jealous!

Last week I had to drive to Duluth, MN to get a hip injection. I'll need a hip replacement one of these days.
I had mine done about 15 months ago, it was the best decision I ever made. I didn't realize how much I was catering to the pain until it was gone.

My coworker built this the other day. He's not even into rockets!
This is absolutely gorgeous, I'm a fan of your co-worker's work.

Packing up my "road-kit" for a club launch in the morning. Going to fly my V2, Big Daddy, Bull Pup and the new Honest John. Hoping to meet some more people and get a chance to talk about certification.

This week I went through every (very old) issue of Model Rocketry Magazine and found plans for rockets to build or modify and generated a list of parts needed. Build pile just got a lot bigger....

4 X 18 mm cluster.
Nylon chute.
Plywood fins, centering rings, and baffle.
Very impressed with the fit and finish on the parts.
My first Klima.

Prepped rockets and av bays for tomorrows launch. Going to fly the TeePee and the Traffic Cone and 7 regular rockets. 7 might be a little ambitious. But I'll try. Now if the wind will cooperate.
Hope you post some video's. 🙂

Today was our launch day. We got blown out again. That 3 months in a row. I only flew my traffic cone. I discovered that it needs more nose weight. It was a sky writer. A few hardy soul did launch in a couple of lulls. Long recoveries.

Down to my mentor's place to test rocket motors. There's a stick of graphite in my lathe that will be six 38mm nozzles but since they're not finished I couldn't test my stuff. However, Jim's "Bluestreek" propellant worked very nicely. Looks kinda neat, the way that the visible flame appears almost separated from the motor.
