So anyways I decided to join and become a paying member and support the forum. It's nice not having ads etc, but seriously for the last few months it's been a headache. Every single time I want to navigate the site I get taken to either to the place IE if I click on "New Post" I go to the home page. If I click on My Threads I go to "New Posts" and sometimes it just hangs up or it takes me to a blank page when I click on any link. I'm losing my patience with this site and its becoming rather annoying. I did speak with Angie a few months ago and bless her heart she did what she could do, but I don't know if she has the tools / access to correct this. This happens in every browsing I decide to use. It doesn't matter. Sometimes when I reply to a thread the site just hangs and does nothing. I bet you dollars to donuts if I post this thread it will hang for 5 minutes before it actually post? I have no idea why this happening and have contemplated about recreating anew account in hopes to avoid this.

Safari on IOS devices, or Chrome on windows. I run ad blocker software on windows to reduce the amount of traffic behind the scenes. Not experiencing what you’re describing.

IE is the most unfriendly to forum browser. It's very picky. All I can think of is maybe you have a slow internet connection. Have you been able to go to a McD or coffee shop or somewhere with public wifi and see if it still happens. And try Chrome.

So after trying to reply to this thread when I'm using IE I get the following. The connection freezes. I had to post this reply when I was signed in on Chrome and on top of that it took it forever to post this in Chrome. What is going on? It's like every time I sign on its hit and miss.

It still hangs up on Chrome, but not as bad, but before I got to this thread I had to try 4x to get here before the site allowed my connection to go through. This is on Chrome. Maybe I should just quit. I cannot enjoy the forum as it was meant to be enjoyed. It takes way too long to navigate between pages and links. It was never like this before so I don't know what happened?

Can you give us some specs of your machine? OS, RAM, connection speed, etc.. it might be something there..

Cleaned out your cache? old cookies & such? Anti-virus up to date? Malware & spyware present? (Should be caught by your anti-virus)

I find it sorta slow too, as the pages take a few seconds to refresh, then jump around to where it 'was'.. but it works. I don][t get the ads, as there is a way to turn them off..

    DuckDuckGo search engine in Firefox.

Close Yahoo! Or FB, etc., If you don't want them leaching off your searches.

I'm about to go Tor for browsing; I'm sick of loss-of-privacy issues.

The error is a JavaScript error. What version of browser(s) are you using and do you have a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed or are you using the native java built into the browser?

Javascript is not Java and does not run in a JRE. Installing a JRE would have no effect on Javascript, which runs in the browser. Browsers support Javascript but Java is not built into the browser.

Afterburners, the error you posted says to look at the JavaScript console. What error message appears in the JavaScript console?

Windows 10 current build 1803 8gb of RAM, Yes I cleared my cache and cookies. I used Firefox, Google Chrome, IE and EDGE. Dr Wogz I'm experiencing the exact same thing you are. It jumps around and it takes about 30 seconds to load a page, I want to add the details here. 30 seconds or longer to load a page. It also doesn't load the page I want. I can click on New Post and end up on the Home Page or click on My Threads and end up on New Posts. Sometimes I get an error saying I have to wait 200 seconds before I can post a to a thread. Sometimes the post I'm trying to make doesn't even load. Wogz this definitely doesn't work for me, If you click on a link it should load. I have the same issues at home as I do at work. It happens on both my work laptop and personal laptop. I don't know what changes the website admin made in the past several months, but it didn't help any. Steve I haven't looked at the JavaScript Console, but I will and get back with you. I like the site and enjoy hanging with you guys, but the only hanging I'm doing is watching my system hang itself LOL

Try again. I did a little testing and fine tuning. Maybe it will help. And ran some maintenance.

Angie if you waved your magic wand, Thank You! I'm not going to say much here for fear of jinxing myself, but I'm at work on Google and everything works awesome!! There's no lag time between links and all the pages seem to work. Maybe I should have no t said anything?
